Foil Leaf & Wax Melting

On a walk, we collected the largest leaves we could find. They happened to have the most prominent veins, which made them very helpful in our Foil Leaf Imprints.
Simply glue the large leaf to a piece of cardboard, cover in foil and rub to see the imprint.
We took it one step further and heated them in the oven for a minute, to melt crayons on.

There was more science involved than I expected and an hours worth of experimentation in melting, cooling/hardening, etching.
