Creature Creations & Form Story-telling

An ominous Autumn morning brought us to our cozy winter den; the shed studio!

When winterizing our yard, we decided to make room for our table and chairs to be used by the shed's sunny window spot over the cool months to come. We can be indoors outdoors when working on projects!

Last week we pressed our collected leaves to preserve them for this weeks projects. You can use a good old fashioned book, or a simple homemade press from two cutting boards and some hardware.  http://mamadrool.blogspot.ca/2014/07/flower-press.html

We used our 'Look what I did with a leaf' book and the following links for inspiration.

Later indoors, Ms. O dictated and copied her story about Little Owlet.
Ms. C told her story in form drawings about three friends walking through a forest, seeing a bear and falling down!
