Milo, My Love

Time has both flown by and stood still, seemingly simultaneously since you were born.
You're still a lovely package of newborn and I know those days are numbered.
You have the same turtle-slow movements that I felt swimming  inside in weeks previous, anticipating your arrival.
I would feel naked without you near me, so I tuck you back, close to my heart and carry you all day.
Your little toes wiggle on my stomach and I realize you are on the other side now...

I juggle to divide my attention, but my love multiplies; the mathematical mystery of motherhood.
