Ice with Salt & Watercolour

A Very Good (and Sneaky!) Time!
We combined two experiments in one for a VERY GOOD TIME!

Using course sea salt to start, we sprinkled it on top of the ice bergs.
If we were very quiet, we could hear the crackling of the salt working it's magic on the ice!

It made lovely crevices that were easier to see with the help of water colour paint drips.

Once their exploration was complete, we arranged the ice bergs outside for a wintery art installation.
