Organic Ice Suncatchers

Organic Suncatchers are such a beautiful art project for the winter, we're doing them again.

They double as a geometry lesson!
We had some leftover Watercolour Heart Ice Cubes that we included in our designs.

You can set out a tray of plants, fruits and veg for arranging to hang from a tree, so when they melt your local wildlife can enjoy.
Or your resident two year old.

Once they're arranged, you can place them on a flat surface outdoors and fill with water.
If you check on them regularly in the process of freezing, you can have a good look at how ice crystals form.
Secure a piece of twine under one of the fruits before freezing, so you have a medium for hanging.
