P is for Perseverance (and Popcorn)

We set out to make a different version of the Snowball Garland with Popcorn Strands.
My little sister used to be in charge of this holiday decor, so O was eager to set to work.
After threading a few (admittedly very small popcorn pieces), she tired out, frustrated with the work of poking the popcorn until it burst apart.

But she insisted on finishing a strand.

Baby C took an honest attempt, before simply eating her bowl of popcorn!

Admittedly, threading kernals can get pretty discouraging!

We've accompanied most of our holiday activities with 'Christmas with the Mousekins' https://www.chapters.indigo.ca/en-ca/books/christmas-with-the-mousekins/9780375833304-item.html?ikwid=Christmas+with+the+Mousekins&ikwsec=Home&ikwidx=0, an adorable story about a family of mice who hand-make Christmas!
