Giant Bubbles!

Last summer, we went to a few festivals where performers were making Giant Bubbles.
For a few dollars, you can create your own GBM http://www.crafts-for-all-seasons.com/giant-bubble-maker.html

ExpeRimental also has a fantastic video on exploring bubble-making from a scientific prospective http://rigb.org/experimental/giant-bubbles Both O & Baby C were deeply enthralled by this video, prior to experimenting with our own bubble-making!
The family in the demo, shows how despite the shape used for the bubble wand, the bubbles always come out as sphere's.

We made our own mini-makers out of pipe-cleaners.
These worked really well!

The Bubble Solution I use is a Martha Stewart concoction http://mamadrool.blogspot.ca/2015/01/tiny-bubbles.html but for some reason, we were struggling to keep the film on the cotton cordage from breaking, before we could get a giant bubble out of it.
